A little about me...
Hi everyone! My name is Alyssa and I'm a 20 year old Arizona native. I was born and raised in Goodyear, AZ and haven't known anything outside of heat and sun. Growing up, when my family did travel, it was also to places with a lot of sun - Mexico, California, Florida, ect. It is very obvious that we don't like the cold. It can be fun to visit... sometimes... but not to live.
I grew up playing a lot of sports. My dad was very athletically driven so that passion was turned on us for better or for worse. He genuinely was a big supporter but was not afraid to be the typical dad yelling in the car of all the things we could've done better. The intention was there... the execution not so much. My main sport was volleyball. I played for ten years and this included middle/high school ball, club ball, and sand volleyball. Every now and then I would pick up a softball glove or a basketball but I was never super entertained by them.
I am very much so an adamant dog lover. I grew up with them my whole life. Through out my life time I have had five. There's only one left and she's my little best friend. Unfortunately, kidney failure is starting to get the best of her but we try to make every day count to the fullest. Car rides, evening strolls, and lots of treats are always on the schedule.
My all time biggest pet peeve (in a relationship at least) is immaturity. Talking from experience, I am a significant other, not your mother. My job is not to raise you. It's a team effort relationship, so please understand adulthood comes with new challenges that require a different kind of focus.
Not too much, not too little. But I find those a few random but interesting facts about myself I hope entertained you all as it did me.
It's great to learn more about you, Alyssa. I love how passionate you are about sports and your dogs. It's important to have a furry companion who can always be by your side. I totally agree with you on the pet peeve about immaturity in a relationship. It's important to have a partner who can be a reliable teammate.
